(Pet Train Syndrome) (abbr.) Pet Train Syndrome. Refers to the unfortunate tendency pets have of wandering where they shouldn't be, getting killed, thus resulting in an annoyed creature (or creatures) tracking down the pet's former owner. e.g. "I thought I got trained in Mistmoore, but it turns out that my elemental had a bad case of PTS." cf.
