1. n. The second largest of Elanthia's three visible moons, though appearing the smallest because of its distance. Lornon is medium grey when well lit, with strange shifting patches of other colors.

2. n. The "dark" pantheon of gods. When the arkati were exiled to the moons by the Great Drakes, those arkati who settled Lornon turned out to be those which are generally considered by mortals to be "dark" or "evil." The Arkati of Lornon treat mortals as playthings or food, if they take notice of them at all. It is unknown whether the Lornon arkati where influenced by the moon they inhabited for so long, or if this was their nature even prior to having been exiled.
