The ErP directive is EU legislation which requires space and water heaters to be labelled with an efficiency class, which is a scale ranging from A+++ being the most efficient to G which is the least efficient. From September 2015, only products which are rated with an efficiency class band of E and above can continue to be sold and any product with an efficiency class lower than this will essentially be banned from sale.
