(Abbreviation for Dual-scan Super Twisted Nematic) Dual-scan Super Twisted Nematic - a type of LCD display. Most commonly used in laptop computers - the screen is split in two, each half is scanned at the same time - this increases the rate at which the screen is refreshed and results in a crisper image.
