Glossary Internet / Term
A form of HTML, used in Microsoft and Netscape's 4.0 browsers -- though the standards are currently different -- using style sheets and a scripting language like JavaScript. Produces CD-ROM-like effects on Web pages. Abbreviated as dHTML, or DHTML.
A technology for making interactive Web pages that respond to a user without requiring an update from a Web server -- usually through JavaScript manipulation of text or objects tagged with HTML. See also HTML, JavaScript, and server.
