This symbol shows that the medicine is under 'additional monitoring', probably because it is new or is being used to treat new medical conditions. Healthcare professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. The black triangle is removed when the safety of the medicine is well established.
