Glossary Narrative Terms in Fiction and Film / Term
The onscreen impression that the film framing is changing with respect to the scene being photographed. This is usually caused by the camera's being physically moved (crane shot, pan, tilt, tracking shot), but it may also be caused by a zoom lens or certain special effects.
