Windows Installer method for making an application available to the user without installing it. When the user attempts to use the application for the first time, the application is installed and run. Applications can be advertised by using the /jm command-line option (Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000) or by using IntelliMirror software installation (Windows 2000 only). See also assign, publish.
