(Military) The deliberate radiation, re-radiation or reflation of electromagnetic energy with object of impairing the use of electronic devices, equipment or systems by the enemy. Equipment may consist of rudimentary CW or noise transmitters, broadband transmitters or complex systems that generate deceptive signals.
