Le DSM-IV, le Manuel diagnostique et statistique des troubles mentaux (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), a été publié par l'American Psychiatric Association en 1994. Il a été revisé (DSM-IV-TR), de façon mineure, en 2000. Le DSM-5 a été publié en mai 2013.
