Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the term used to describe the commitment to lifelong learning and is the means by which people maintain their knowledge and skills related to their professional lives. Some institutions and organisations require the completion of a minimum number of CPD hours to be completed annually through training, seminars, workshops, events and conferences to demonstrate learning and keep qualifications current.
